This is a way to get extra credit for this class and help your fellow students.

If you properly format and upload two articles into Zotero for the capitalism in North Carolina project, we will add 1% to your final grade.  (This must be completed by Apr 4 to receive credit.)

Here are the conditions:

1.  The articles should fit into one of the existing categories given in zotero unless you talk to either me or our TA.
2. Find an article.  Record the metadata.  (Metadata are the data which identifies the article.)  For a newspaper article this should include:  the author (if given), title of the article, date, place of publication, name of publication.
3. Go to zotero and the appropriate folder for your article.
   1. Click the plus sign on the top
   2. Identify the appropriate type of reference you have found (newspaper article, etc.)
   3. Enter the meta-data for your article.
   4. You should be able to see the metadata now in zotero.
   5. download the article as a pdf.
   6. drag the pdf of your article onto its listing in zotero so that you see that the pdf is referenced below the actual article reference.
4. Complete this google form and inform DeLayne when you have completed your zotero reference and she will verify that you have done it correctly.
5. These articles can be used by you or your fellow students for your papers.
